Senior Associate, POM Product Owner
to join our Asset servicing team. This role is in
Manchester, UK and will be working on a hybrid basis (3 days a week in the office). In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Collaborate with the Product Owner/Manager, Business, SMEs, and End Users to gather and develop story level requirements in JIRA that allows the Development Team to deliver consistent level of high-quality code. Act as a central point between the Product Owner/Manager and Development Team. Manage defects and participate in all agile/sprint activities (planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, standups, and design). Create and maintain story level functional and non-functional requirements and Acceptance Criteria in JIRA (excluding technical tasks). Write and elaborate stories to align with definition of 'Ready for Development' while ensuring alignment to the operating model/data models: Augment stories with additional materials as required, including wireframes, flow diagrams, etc. Write stories that are granular to achieve 4-week sprint. Ensure story addresses problem statement and achieves business outcome. Write Acceptance Criteria in Gherkin language, ready to be used in automated testing as required. Validate stories with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Owner, Business, SMEs, and End Users. Review test cases with testers to ensure test results meet expected outcomes as defined in acceptance criteria. Log identified defects in JIRA, and work with Scrum Lead and Dev team for resolution. Prepare and circulate release notes as part of operational readiness. Support other Ops readiness activities as delegated by Product Owner. Bachelor's or post-graduate degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. Relevant market/industry certifications - e.g., AAC, CCBA, CBAP. Relevant Business acumen/knowledge of Asset Servicing. Experience in Project/Product delivery (Agile delivery preferred).
