TPP are recruiting for a Senior Assurance Officer on behalf of our client, a longstanding professional membership and awarding body.

Benefits - Senior Assurance Officer:

Working closely with training providers, this organisation is committed to upholding high standards of compliance and quality assurance to support the development of industry-recognised training programmes.

The Role - Senior Assurance Officer:

As Senior Assurance Officer, you will support the Certified Training and Education Manager with crucial assurance processes, from proctoring online exams to investigating potential malpractice. You will play a vital role in upholding quality standards, ensuring compliance, and supporting new training providers through the approval process. This position also involves deputising for the manager, providing operational support for complex queries, and overseeing a small portfolio of Approved Training Partners (ATPs).

Key Responsibilities:

Proctoring exams: Manage the proctoring process, reviewing videos, performing ID checks, and overseeing learner approval processes. Investigations: Lead investigations into malpractice and maladministration, gathering and analysing data to determine the scope and findings. Support and assurance: Provide guidance on complex queries, collaborate on audit programme planning, and deputise for the manager as needed. Training provider quality assurance: Manage the application and approval process for a small portfolio of ATPs, monitor compliance, and liaise on corrective actions and feedback.

Skills and Experience required:

Strong experience in quality assurance, ideally within an awarding organisation, regulatory environment, or professional body. Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and processes, with excellent analytical skills to ensure compliance and recommend improvements. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to critically assess information, identifying potential risks or irregularities. Strong customer service and account management skills with experience in building relationships with stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
