MERJE is seeking a talented Senior Audit Manager Credit, Models and Data for a leading Financial Services company and prominent player in the consumer lending sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead audit initiatives in a dynamic financial environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing credit and data management processes. Location: Bradford Hybrid Salary – Competitive Salary plus excellent bonus and benefits The Role Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, you will add value, strengthen and safeguard the organisation by providing objective assurance to the group through effective and timely delivery of the Audit plan and quality assurance activity. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Audit Manager Credit and Data: Lead and conduct audits focused on credit and data management processes. Review Audit files in line with Audit methodology and deliver high profile audit engagements to time, cost and quality. Provide coaching and oversight of Audit delivery by Audit Managers. Provide technical SME input relating to credit risk, models and data analytics. Develop and implement audit strategies aligned with company objectives. Provide expert insights and recommendations to improve risk management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data integrity and credit policies. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Become a member of the GIA SLT providing key input to strategy and objectives and attend key Business committees or governance forums. Required knowledge and experience for the Senior Audit Manager Credit and Data role: Extensive experience in audit management within the financial services sector. Knowledge and experience of credit, models and data and associated PRA Regulations. Understanding of the FCA’s rules including CONC, DISP, SYSC. In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment and data management practices. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools. Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Relevant professional qualifications in audit, finance, or risk management.
