Senior Auditor and Accountant

Butler Rose are delighted to be supporting a Leicester based accountancy practice to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified Audit and Accounts senior to their existing team.
You will be assisting with delivering the highest quality statutory audit and accounts preparation services. The split will be 50% audit and 50% accounts. Clients come from a range of industry backgrounds including property, media and entertainment, as well as general practice.
Role Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory and management accounts for limited companies. Assisting on audits. Preparation of corporation tax computations. Preparation and submission of VAT returns. Preparation of monthly management accounts. Supervision, training and review of junior team members and their work. Briefing audit teams supervising and reviewing work. Reviewing statutory (and other) accounts and organising their preparation and issue. Providing technical guidance to staff and resolving technical queries when instructed by clients.
Person Responsibilities: ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified. Minimum of three years' experience working within an accountancy practice. Good all-round current compliance knowledge. Good working knowledge of CCH Accounts Production, Sage Line 50, Xero and Microsoft Excel.
