The Role

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will: Identify and implement automation opportunities to boost safety, quality, and productivity. Drive automation in product design, manufacturing, and testing processes. Lead cross-functional teams in delivering automation projects from concept to completion. Develop and refine work instructions for automated processes. Use structured problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot and optimize production challenges. Train and mentor staff on automation tools and techniques.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need: A MSc/MEng or equivalent in automation, optical, or laser systems. Proven experience with automated assembly and mounting processes for optical systems. Expertise in manufacturing productivity control and process improvement. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. A passion for driving change and implementing innovative solutions.
