AIC operates in a very niche and rewarding industry, making independent mobility accessible to all by adapting vehicles to suit each customers individual needs. With a list of over two hundred adaptations no two days are the same. We are looking for a highly motivated team player, who is looking for an opportunity to be a part of making a difference to someone’s life by improving their mobility. The role is primarily based in our Workshop in Peterborough, but there will be an occasional requirement to carry out installations at customers houses or car dealerships in our branch area. The Senior Automotive Installation Engineer Role: Provide a professional installation service for all our products Deal with customers in a friendly and helpful manner Work to a weekly and daily schedule of work Conduct on-site training/guidance for new customers Provide Technical support for installers Liaise with clients, sales, engineering and manufacturing colleagues Contribute to on-site training for distributers Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard Confirm to all health and safety practices We will provide an excellent induction and training programme and on-going full support to enable you to be successful in the role. In order to be successful in this role you must have / be: Flexible and used to working to high standards An experienced automotive mechanic or engineer, with a recognized qualification in motor vehicle mechanics Trained with extensive experience in vehicle mechanics, electricals and body structure, having undertaken a structured training scheme or recognized apprenticeship A strong ability to provide excellent customer service A full clean driving license Experience of and ability to train others Organised with good planning skills Motivated and able to work on own initiative If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on “APPLY” today!
