Position : Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Suitable for : Azure DevOps Engineer with 5+ years Azure experience at enterprise level Location : Hybrid – home based, with the expectation to attend the Milton Keynes office at least once a month and as and when required. Our client is a healthcare software development company that builds and delivers market-leading applications. They have high ambitions and are looking to bring in a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to help continue their adoption of Azure-native services and build a best-of-breed scalable SaaS platform for their solutions. The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will need to have 5+ years of enterprise experience with Azure, who can demonstrate a real passion for cloud technologies, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking, good communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience with Azure Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Azure DevOps Engineer Proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) A deep understanding of Azure PaaS components. Key areas: Azure SQL and MI (Managed Instance) Data Factory Databricks Power BI Data Lake Fabric AKS (deployment + management) API Management App Services Functions Networking App Insights Solid understanding of: Terraform HELM charts Flux (or similar) Powershell / Azure CLI Desirable: Healthcare or Government-related industry experience Understanding of JIRA and Confluence Experience with AKS (deployment + management) Python scripting Experience is valued over accreditation; however, as they are a Microsoft partner, there will be encouragement to gain accreditation during employment. The Role:

Working within an existing Analytics development team and part of a wider DevOps Consortium, the individual will have a diverse workload covering (but not limited to): Automation of infrastructure and software rollout using Azure DevOps pipelines, including quality gates such as approvals and code quality scanning. Deploy/Maintain Infrastructure, using an IaC approach. Design and develop automated scaling and failover using deep health checks and insights. Work closely with other departments, such as Ops and TechOps, to facilitate the smooth running of the cloud services. Work closely with the Security teams to analyze and help remediate on internal and SoC flagged issues, along with assisting in internal vulnerability checks/ethical hacking. Continuous improvement and testing of DR/BCP to ensure high availability. Full job description is available on request.
