Senior Radiographer Chichester Hospital | Radiology | Bank | Ad Hoc | Part time Up to £35.00 per hour, depending on experience Main duties of the job

As a Senior Radiographer, you will: See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures Supervise and develop junior colleagues Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion About us

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments. Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology. Job responsibilities

BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) Postgraduate qualification High levels of technical knowledge Ideally, Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification Ability to work accurately and compassionately Disclosure and Barring Service Check
