Senior Billing Specialist

to lead our queries-based team. This pivotal role involves managing customer queries, invoicing, processing credit notes, and handling refunds. Reporting directly to the Head of Billing, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Credit Control, Accounting, and Business Support teams. You will oversee a dynamic offshore team, including three direct reports, in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts. This role is ideal for an experienced manager or an individual looking to step into a leadership position. You will have the autonomy to implement changes, refine processes, and truly make the role your own. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of three, ensuring consistent performance and engagement. Oversee and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) for all queries. Assist with month-end billing and closure activities. Conduct reporting and analysis on invoices, credit note requests, and other ad-hoc tasks. Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices within designated timeframes. Promptly address and resolve customer and supplier queries. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely task completion. Train and support team members on new processes and procedures. Participate in finance-related projects, contributing ideas and improvements. How You Will Make an Impact Your expertise in telecommunications billing and finance will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence and maintaining high service standards. Leveraging your management skills, you will foster a high-performing team while identifying opportunities for process improvement. Key Skills and Experience Proven team management experience. Strong background in telecommunications billing. Proficiency in systems such as Ability, NetSuite, and Sage. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, particularly under pressure. Self-motivated, with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn. Exceptional communication skills. Experience in project involvement, with a clear vision of what 'good' looks like. Why Join Us?
