Senior BIM Designer/BIM Manager Stratford, Greater London £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Performance Objectives: Gap Construction are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior BIM Designer/BIM Manager to join a dynamic and growing team based in Stratford, Greater London. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Building Information Modelling (BIM) with a proven ability to lead and manage projects effectively. Key Responsibilities: Lead the BIM process from concept to completion, ensuring effective project delivery. Oversee the creation, development, and management of 3D models using Revit and other BIM software. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to coordinate and integrate designs. Implement and enforce BIM standards and protocols to ensure project compliance. Provide technical guidance to junior BIM team members and assist with their development. Produce detailed project reports and track project progress. Manage BIM coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with project managers to ensure that project goals and timelines are met. Develop and maintain BIM workflows to streamline design processes. Contribute to innovation within the department and the wider business. Person Specification: Strong experience in BIM management and design, ideally within the built environment or construction sector. Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software tools (Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.). Excellent understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and project delivery processes. Previous experience in a senior role, managing a team and leading BIM projects. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Knowledge of construction drawings, technical documentation, and project lifecycles. A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though not essential. Experience with 3D modelling, clash detection, and coordination. A problem-solving attitude and a passion for staying up-to-date with new BIM technologies.
