JOB MISSION The Senior Brand & Business Development Manager French Bloom will be leading the development of French Bloom sales & marketing strategies and oversees the execution of its trade marketing programming and activations across all channels in the U.K., in alignment with the French Bloom Maison brand strategy and the broader Moët Hennessy U.K. strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Business Development: Strategic distribution: Ensure French Bloom's distribution across all channels (significant on-trade emphasis) in the UK, identifying growth areas. Commercial opportunities: Proactively scout for new accounts and enhance sales performances in existing partnerships. Execute strategies and align them with brand plans. Customer engagement: Design and execute customer-centric business plans. Advocate for promotional activities targeting prime outlets to boost brand visibility and engagement. Financial management: Oversee account financials, offering recommendations on pouring proposals and evaluating ROI. Training, Advocacy Building, and Brand Ambassadorship: Relationship building: Forge robust relationships within the trade, ensuring the brand's influential presence and market recognition. Brand advocacy: Act as the brand's spokesperson, captivating and educating stakeholders. Utilize in-depth wine and no/low knowledge to evangelize the brand, ensuring consistent messaging. Events & social presence: Champion the brand through events such as trade shows and masterclasses. Brand Management, Marketing, PR: Develop 'best in class' communications and brand assets. Elevate execution in On & Off Premise accounts in partnership with Trade Marketing, and support experiential/PR efforts led by the Consumer Engagement teams. Steward the execution of French Bloom brand programs, in collaboration with Strategy and Business Planning, Consumer Engagement, Commercial organization, Consumer Insights teams, and other key stakeholders. Run French Bloom brand presentations and trainings to the sales force. Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to design and develop elevated POS materials and brand assets to drive brand strategy and leverage consumer engagement opportunities at the moment of choice. Assist the MH UK Communication & Culture team with press needs, endeavors/events, and sampling for ratings. Support our CSR efforts to benefit the brand and drive relevancy with consumers. Strategic Business Planning: Develop programs that reach our target along their consumer journey to drive growth and build brand equity. Create exciting and compelling presentations and tools to ensure internal and external buy-in. Create KPIs to track and measure program effectiveness, ensuring positive ROI. This includes helping to build French Bloom key trade target account lists in collaboration with MHUK sales team. Assist and participate with French Bloom market visits (including direct interaction with accounts and creating relationships with buyers/sommeliers during sales calls). Support brand completion of commercial analytics, including monthly sales reporting. Work with the MH U.K. Demand & Supply Planner/Logistic/Supply Chain to help monitor inventory and supply chain. Competitive analysis and implications: Assist with the development of the Competition Framework by analysing category performance, opportunities, identifying key consumer targets, innovation opportunities, and activation strategies. Performance Management: Partner with Finance to define, track, and deliver French Bloom brand profit goals. Manage the A&P deployment strategy on French Bloom, ensuring A&P spend is prioritized against business & brand objectives and managed to budget. Maintain brand A&P in MAP and oversee phasing and pacing, ensuring alignment with all reporting targets throughout the year (LE1, LE2, Landing). Profile
Professional Experience & Know-How: +5 years of sales and marketing experience in the wines/spirits sector. Experience in the U.K. wine trade preferred. Understanding of brand strategy development in a commercial context. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Passionate, creative, and with a drive for innovation. Strong expertise across all functions within the organization. Experience managing agencies and third-party vendors. Ability to successfully adapt to different stakeholders. Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional key stakeholders, including senior leaders. Highly refined communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision making. Proven ability to lead creative strategy, including campaign development and deployment. Languages: Fluent English. French is a plus. Other Skills: Valid driving license and willingness to travel intensively across the UK. WSET Wines level 3, or relevant sommelier/trade experience, is a plus.
