Do you have the desire and ambition to progress your skills within the bridges and civil structures sector to stand out from the crowd and make a difference?

We are looking for you to bring to our client your passion and flair to work within the bridge sector on inspection & assessment, design and project management, by taking an active role on multi-discipline bids and projects in both the public and private sector.

Currently, they are involved with several interesting and high-profile civil structures projects including a variety of local authority and contractor framework agreements, giving a strong and secured future workload.

Based out of their Manchester office, they will look at you to get involved in bridge inspection and assessment, design, temporary works design and supervising / assisting others in accordance with senior management requirements.

Daily activity will be varied and exciting, allowing you to use your skills in a multitude of ways. This will include but not limited to:

Liaising with clients to identify their specific requirements.

Delivering quality technical design, assessment and inspection reports in line with national standards and the client specific brief.

Bridge design.

Temporary Works design. [as a bonus skill!]

Promoting where applicable innovative solutions.

Ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements.

To be successful in the role you will hold a relevant degree in civil or structural engineering, have the desire to achieve, (or have already achieved), chartered status, have awareness of relevant bridge, civil structural and temporary works design software, able to design in major materials including RC, Steel, masonry and timber and able to write sound technical reports.
