Senior Building Physics Engineer

- To £65K, 27 days leave, profit share, 2 x salary reviews every year. This Sustainability Consultancy has always asked their employees what they actually want. They offer all employees profit share, 27 days paid annual leave (plus the Bank Holidays), two annual salary increases (June and December), 5% pension, and weekly CPDs. Additionally, they will cover your gym membership or another health and well-being activity, prioritizing employee health and well-being. Established by an entrepreneurial individual disillusioned with large corporate consultancies, this consultancy offers a unique working environment. They actively seek to make the built environment a better and safer place for future generations by providing transparent, honest, and clear advice to their clients. On every project, they ask themselves, 'If we were the client, what would we do on this project, knowing what we do as building services engineers?' This approach keeps things simple and refreshingly honest. As the lead Building Physics Engineer, you'll be involved in meaningful projects, including schools, universities, mixed-use developments, commercial offices, theatres, and leisure centres. You'll interact and collaborate with a team of PH, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineers to design innovative, Net Zero Carbon buildings. You'll produce energy strategies and promote the use of automation and digital engineering to improve building performance engineering. When you develop a new tool, better working method, or new service, you'll be supported by the directors to further develop it, retaining full intellectual property rights and reaping the financial rewards of your innovation. Benefits: 27 days leave from day one of employment, plus 8 days bank holidays. Profit share. Salary review in June and December. 5% pension. Ongoing CPD and option of day release to complete an MSc. Weekly social and monthly activities. Payment of two Professional Memberships. Hybrid working and flexible working hours. Company card for expenses (rather than having to submit expense claims). Paid lifestyle benefits such as a gym membership. Additional bonus for developing new services, tools, plugins, or more efficient working methods. Hands-on mentoring and support from the Founding Directors. Ability to work remotely from abroad for up to two weeks at a time. Job 3571
