BDS are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor, working full time for our client to cover the Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall area.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Hybrid and flexible working.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
Guide and develop a team of Regional Building Surveyors to tackle complex repairs.
Manage and resolve challenging projects, always keeping customer satisfaction and value for money in focus.
Collaborate with contractors, clients, and in-house teams to maintain our housing stock to the highest standards.
Ensure health and safety compliance across all projects, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
The ideal candidate will have:
H&S Certification (SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent).
Level 4 or 5 Qualification in a construction related field (HNC/HND or equivalent).
CIOB/CIH/RICS equivalent qualification in related property surveying. (D)
Degree in relevant qualification. (D)
Proficient level of literacy and numeracy.
Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS. (D)
Salary is circa £32 - £36 per hour via Umbrella (can be flexible for the right candidate).
Temporary ongoing position to start ASAP in the first instance.
