Senior Building Surveyor

to join a highly-regarded national Residential Building Consultancy team. Based in London, you’ll play a key role in delivering a range of technical due diligence, professional services, and project management across various residential sectors. This includes Affordable Housing, Specialist Care, Prime Central London, Build to Rent, and Student Housing. In this role, you’ll take ownership of

Stock Condition Surveys

and work within a collaborative, high-performing team that values excellence and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

Stock Condition Surveys:

Carry out thorough surveys within the residential sector, ensuring precise and comprehensive data collection. Technical Due Diligence:

Provide expert assessments of residential property conditions and compliance, delivering robust due diligence services. Building Inspections & Defect Diagnosis:

Conduct inspections, identify defects, and prepare detailed reports for clients. Project Management:

Manage projects from start to finish, overseeing contract administration and project monitoring. Collaboration & Client Relationships:

Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and outcomes. Innovation & Improvement:

Take a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Industry Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the residential sector. Company Values:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying or a related field. Chartered Status:

Membership with

RICS

(Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is preferred. Experience:

Proven experience in conducting

Stock Condition Surveys

and providing technical due diligence in the residential sector. Project Management Skills:

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery. Communication & Teamwork:

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, with a focus on building strong client relationships. Adaptability:

Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing shifting priorities with ease. Technical Proficiency:
