About the Role: As a Client-Side Building Surveyor, you will work closely with clients to provide expert advice on all aspects of building surveying, with a particular focus on dilapidations. You will also have the opportunity to engage in other areas such as property inspections, refurbishment projects, and general building
condition assessments. Key Responsibilities: Dilapidations: Lead and manage dilapidation assessments, schedules, negotiations, and dispute resolution. Property condition surveys and reporting. Managing and advising on building maintenance and refurbishment works. Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including reports, schedules of work, and cost estimates. Offering strategic advice on property portfolio management and lifecycle planning. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Supporting the wider surveying team on diverse property-related issues. About You: MRICS or working towards it is highly desirable. Proven experience in dilapidations and other building surveying disciplines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a client-focused approach.
