About The Role

Purpose

To perform a key role in designing and implementing business, systems and operational change, as well as line managing 5 business systems analysts. This role will report into the Chief Transformation Officer with a heavy dotted line into the Transformation Director.

7IM has an exciting and challenging innovative change programme, the Senior Business Analyst will work at the heart of developments, taking up a leading role in ensuring that all change is aligned to 7IM's strategic goals and agile ways of working.

Responsibilities Business (and systems) analysis. Developing business ideas into rounded and practical business requirements. Writing and developing user stories. Cross functional liaison across all areas of 7IM, including senior stakeholders. Leadership and line management of a team of 5 analysts (located in both London and Edinburgh). Leading on the 'Analysis Chapter' (center of excellence) initiatives. Reporting upwards as a Chapter lead ensuring that key issues from a chapter perspective are raised in a timely fashion and shared with Development, Test and Product chapters. Adherence at all times to the Treating Customers Fairly policy as implemented by 7IM. Act consistently in accordance with 7IM's Vision, Purpose and Values. Adherence to the 7IM SDLC across all projects. Adherence to all applicable compliance regulations. Other, as reasonably required by your line manager and 7IM. About You

Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to quickly understand and document end to end processes in detail. Ability to run and lead effective workshops with SMEs, Developers, Testers, and others as required. Ability to challenge at all levels, understanding complexities and consistently targeting simple and effective solutions. Ability to work autonomously in a complex business environment. Strong inter-personal skills, able to build relationships at all levels (internal & external). Ability to listen to (and influence) business users and translate to documents which can be understood by the technical team who will build the systems. Ability to propose potential solutions to business/systems issues. Ability to enforce change control. Highly computer literate. Ability to adapt and learn new skills. Knowledge Experience of wealth and investment management (including operational knowledge) would be advantageous. Wealth platform knowledge is highly desirable. Financial services knowledge is desirable. Demonstrable experience of preparing business / functional specifications. Extensive experience in business analysis in the agile context is desirable. Experience using Business Optix and or other process modelling tools is helpful. Other Relevant Information

The successful candidate will be highly disciplined with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. A hands-on and practical approach will be needed, along with good liaison skills. The desire to work in a small team environment and a tenacious approach to achieving goals will also be needed. Travel to the 7IM Edinburgh office will be required.
