Senior Business Analyst

- Salary £50,000-£60,000

Location - Reigate

Do you have a passion for transformation, like to challenge the status quo, think differently, and look at ways technology can solve business problems? Do you enjoy working with engineers to understand the data, systems and technical aspects of the project delivery? Are you dynamic, resilient and want to be involved in delivering change that drives Aviva's strategy?

If ' yes ', you could be part of this transformation and supporting our overall roadmap for 2025. We love to constantly innovate and improve the experience and security for our customers. We have brought together all our technology change agents to drive deliveries and outcomes.

Our one team approach means you will have great opportunities for career development across the divisions. You don't need to be from an insurance background; we want to bring the best in class regardless of your specific industry experience. We are particularly interested to hear from people with experience in data analysis and knowledge of GDPR compliance.

If you are motivated by making a difference, enjoy a variety of assignments, are keen to develop and have strong relationship building skills, this could be the role for you!

A bit about the job:

As the Senior Business Analyst, you'll be ensuring key business scenarios are understood and documented, lead on outlining business processes, data flows and customer communication, and perform impact analysis on changes working with development and test colleagues to ensure that any risks to business and customer information have appropriate mitigation. This will include requirements gathering and analysis for the implementation of GDPR compliance in key business applications.

Delivering for customers is critical, so considering their needs and being prepared to challenge decisions that are not in their best interests is vital. You'll need to understand other change initiatives, recognise dependencies, and determine if business benefits can be realised through alignment of change initiatives.

Skills and experience we're looking for: Good knowledge of Data Privacy/GDPR principles and technical solutions is an advantage. Experienced in producing detailed requirements with business SMEs and refining user stories with engineering teams. Ability to understand and map data flows/data models. Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills, with strong stakeholder management and engagement skills. Able to act as the Product Owner managing backlogs with delivery teams working in a Scrum framework. What you'll get for this role:

Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.
