Senior Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity Remote – UK with travel to client sites Salary – £70,000 - £80,000 + Double OTE uncapped As a Senior Business Development Manager, your role will focus on forging strong, lasting relationships with clients, driving growth within assigned accounts, and securing new business opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the client base, managing renewals, and leading a high-performing team to exceed business goals. Key Responsibilities New Business Development : Employ a strategic and methodical approach to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. Client Engagement : Build trusted relationships within target organizations, converting leads into viable business opportunities that align with our offerings. Account Management : Manage existing client relationships, negotiating contracts to maximize revenue and profit. Develop plans to expand business within current accounts. Collaboration : Partner with internal teams and technology partners to enhance client engagements and uncover new opportunities. Strategic Growth : Focus on recurring revenue growth through managed service offerings while leveraging consultancy teams to demonstrate our expertise. Leadership : Oversee the timely delivery of solutions that align with client needs and objectives. Core Duties Cultivate leads and transform them into opportunities from initial outreach to deal closure. Develop and present high-quality proposals and materials tailored to senior client stakeholders. Serve as the main point of contact for client accounts, nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders and executive sponsors. Track and report key performance metrics, ensuring accurate forecasting and accountability. Anticipate and address client needs, resolving challenges and escalations effectively. Regularly identify areas for improvement within client accounts to enhance performance and satisfaction. What You Bring to the Role Experience : At least 2 years of proven success in cybersecurity sales covering public and private sector clients. Versatility : A background in selling both managed security services and consulting solutions. Client-Focused Mindset : A passion for understanding client goals and aligning solutions to their needs. Commercial Acumen : The ability to assess client challenges and craft compelling, value-driven propositions. Communication Skills : Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with experience engaging senior audiences. Collaborative Spirit : A team player who values constructive feedback and respects diverse perspectives. Drive for Excellence : A proactive, curious approach to learning and problem-solving.
