Reporting to:

Chief Commercial Officer. In this role you will add value to PXP by: Managing all steps within the complex and consultative sales process, from (cold) lead generation to a signed legal agreement with the client and further supporting the Commercial team. Support internal teams for the ‘go live’ and make sure the committed volumes are realized after ‘go live’, as you will have direct volume and margin responsibility for 12 months. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager specializing in the payment industry, with a focus on gaming and high-risk merchants. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic partnerships and business opportunities within the gaming sector, particularly with high-risk merchants. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of the payment industry, gaming market trends, risk management, and B2B sales to drive revenue growth and expand our client base. A typical week as a Senior Business Development Manager (Gaming) might involve: Business Development Strategy:

Developing and implementing a comprehensive B2B business development strategy to target the gaming industry, specifically focusing on high-risk merchants. Identifying new market opportunities, potential partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand the company's presence and revenue streams. Analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify areas for B2B business growth.

Partnership and Relationship Management:

Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including gaming companies, payment processors, acquirers, and financial institutions. Negotiating and structuring B2B partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, legal, and compliance, to ensure successful implementation and ongoing management of partnerships.

B2B Sales and Revenue Generation:

Driving B2B revenue growth by actively pursuing new business opportunities and expanding the company's client base in the gaming and high-risk merchant segments. Developing and executing B2B sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Conducting B2B sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new partnerships and merchant accounts.

Reporting and Analysis:

Tracking, analysing, and reporting on key performance metrics, business development activities, and industry trends to the executive team. Providing regular reports and recommendations on market opportunities, competitor analysis, and potential risks. Utilizing data-driven insights to refine B2B business development strategies and improve overall performance. Building out and maintaining your pipeline and opportunities accurately in the CRM tool (Microsoft).

We are looking for someone who has: A proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B business development, sales, or partnerships within the payment industry, with a focus on gaming and high-risk merchants. Strong understanding of the gaming industry, including payment processing, compliance, and risk management. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic B2B partnerships and driving revenue growth. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset. Familiarity with payment technologies, e-commerce platforms, and merchant acquiring processes. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to the gaming and high-risk merchant sectors. Microsoft skills and ability to use CRM tools/ Excel. We would love someone to have any of the following: Academic degree preferably in business. Over 5 years’ experience in the payments industry. Multi-lingual.
