Our client, one of the UK’s leading independent providers of Financial Services to businesses, requires a Senior Business Development Manager to join their expanding corporate sales team in Merseyside. Your role will be to proactively source new Invoice Finance business from a network of Professional Introducers including Accountants, Solicitors, Brokers and/or Corporate Finance boutiques throughout your designated territory. Facility sizes will exceed £1m, but generally not exceed £10m. Key Responsibilities: Take a lead role in supporting the new business team when structuring risk-balanced, profitable, and commercial deals in the Corporate and mid-market arena. Ensure business is written that adds value, creating enhanced profit and an acceptable risk profile. Build and maintain a level of new enquiries; attend networking events and identify and secure opportunities for new business generation, both individually and for the Corporate Sales Team. You will be a motivated self-starter who is well organized, works efficiently, and in a self-disciplined fashion. You will be able to cope well with the demands of the job and show that you can manage your time effectively. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling Invoice Finance to businesses in addition to being able to display a comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and its practical applications.
