2-3 days per week in the office We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the strategic development of business development, marketing, and profile-raising initiatives for a prominent and expanding sector team within a leading professional services firm. The Role: Develop and implement a practical business development (BD) strategy to drive growth in the sector, incorporating international BD, marketing, and communications activities aligned with business goals such as revenue generation, profile enhancement, and opportunity realisation. Oversee the annual budget proposal process to support your marketing plan, ensuring efficiency, monitoring spend against allocations, and assessing return on investment (ROI). Manage sector-specific bids and panel pitches, coordinating efforts to deliver high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with the central key client team to provide strategic guidance on managing sector opportunities with global and regional key clients. Supervise the creation and delivery of high-quality materials to promote the sector effectively. Leverage all marketing communication channels to deliver consistent messaging about the sector's expertise and experience. Lead the planning and execution of impactful campaigns. Design and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns utilising the full marketing mix to maintain and enhance the sector's leadership position. Partner with the Divisional Leader to devise a global strategy, share expertise, and promote best practices, fostering a deeper understanding of the Group's BD approach within sector teams. Who we are looking for: A relevant degree and/or a recognised marketing or communications qualification (or equivalent). Significant experience within a legal or professional services environment, with expertise in disputes being highly advantageous. Demonstrated understanding of BD strategy within a professional services organization. Proven experience delivering cross-border BD and marketing campaigns using the full marketing mix, collaborating effectively with broader BD teams. Interested? Please apply now.
