As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will lead in developing and growing new and existing business, guiding the Business Development team to achieve their goals. The purpose of our Business Development team is to generate new business by researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets. The team engages with a range of high-profile brands, designers, celebrities, charities, and social media influencers to help them reimagine what's possible with their brand while also improving their impact on the planet. Responsibilities Leading the research of organizations and individuals online, especially on social media, to identify new leads and potential new markets Overseeing the identification of new sales leads and innovative opportunities for prospective clients Managing and mentoring the Business Development team to achieve individual and collective goals Building and maintaining relationships with high-profile clients and key industry influencers Contacting leads and clients via email or phone to promote Teemill's value proposition and inform them about new developments in our product range and platform Leading the pitching to prospective clients and preparing proposals Tracking and managing your own sales funnel and reporting on your pipeline and lead generation activities Meeting and exceeding revenue targets as determined in your OKRs each quarter and in your 121s Keeping abreast of online trends, high-profile news topics, viral posts, and key influencers within the digital space Identifying and articulating creative and innovative opportunities to prospective clients Qualifications A-levels or equivalent qualifications 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C/9-4 including in English and Maths Experience Minimum 5 years experience in a direct marketing or creative sales role Proven track record of successful account management and reaching revenue targets Extensive experience in pitching to new clients and preparing proposals Experience of performing in a target-driven or competitive environment Experience in leading and mentoring a team
