Senior Business Solutions Analyst (VA378)

Location: Jersey Guernsey Southampton Department: Technology Experience: Multiple years' experience of viewpoint configuration/development is essential. We are seeking a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to provide continuous enhancement and transformation of the Group's business solutions portfolio, leveraging advancements in technology to adapt and improve business processes to meet business requirements in line with the Group's business and technology strategy. Responsibilities:

Act as Service Manager for Viewpoint and take responsibility for its development support. Primary technical lead on Viewpoint projects and initiatives, ranging from simple integrations and automations to extensive application upgrades and system transformations. In addition to Viewpoint, assist with providing support and system ownership on other systems when required. Identify solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability as well as lead the implementation of suitable solutions. Undertake a business analysis role on some initiatives, sourcing requirements from users to build into solutions & system configurations. Mentor less experienced members of the Technology Team and provide assistance when necessary. Contribute to the Business Solutions strategy for the firm. Follow priorities set by management, in line with the Technology Strategy and Carey Olsen's Project Priorities. Perform routine Business Solution system maintenance, upgrades and releases. Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to requests for support when required. Analyse root causes of common and recurring issues and propose permanent solutions. Assist with the development of data management routines such as imports/reconciliations/report production. Demonstrate an excellent standard of customer service at all times, and act as an ambassador for the Technology department in all dealings with customers. Attend business meetings as required. Adhere to all Technology Governance processes such as incident management, change enablement etc. Maintain business solution management documentation including creating knowledge base articles and procedure documents, FAQs, and self-help guides. Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with assigned business contacts and 3rd Party Suppliers. Escalate any issues to the Technology Management Team as soon as possible and recommend potential solutions. Identify & recommend process improvements, efficiency gains and cost savings to the Group. Consistently produce work to a high standard whilst demonstrating excellent standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions. Be aware of cyber security risks that exist and escalate any events or concerns that are encountered. Carry out all tasks in a secure manner i.e. security by design in all work. Encourage staff awareness of cyber security risks and of best practice guidelines. Ensure a security and privacy first approach is taken to all work and ensure it meets the requirements of the Group's security and privacy policies and procedures. Ideal Candidate:

Have a number of years' experience in providing support and development on Viewpoint including, but not limited to, workflows, data imports, users and security, updating configuration and field settings, writing reports, SQL extracts, application upgrades, and the Engage Portal. Have experience in supporting a multi-jurisdictional Corporate Services business using Viewpoint. Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Be able to demonstrate the ability to solve business problems. Have experience of working within a technology change management environment. Have experience in the development and/or management of system integrations and knowledge of APIs would be advantageous. Have experience in the development and/or management of complex workflow systems would be advantageous (preferably Intapp family of products). Experience in data transformation and manipulation using T-SQL would be advantageous. Higher level education would be an advantage.
