Senior Buyer . Are you a detail orientated self-starter with a can-do attitude who can provide expertise and leadership to the business facilitating best value procurement to time, cost, and quality imperatives? You will be working as part of the Direct Procurement team, to promote and implement high professional standards interacting with multiple stakeholders within the business. You will create positive working relationships both within the team and across functional boundaries and will sell the value of the Procurement function to the wider business to drive realisation of commercial opportunities via greater engagement. Senior Buyer , your main responsibilities will be: Manage a portfolio of suppliers focusing on both tactical and strategic development. Expedite and progress deliveries from Suppliers & maintain timely reporting of delivery status of parts outstanding, routinely feeding back status to internal stakeholders. Ensure that all aspects of transactional procurement of goods and services for category are achieved. Optimise total value being delivered to the race team- on time and to the required quality standard. Support and motivate the Procurement team to achieve departmental measures of performance. Support & develop continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Negotiate contracts with suppliers that provide best value to the business. Rationalise and develop supplier base to those that provide best value to the business. Provide procurement leadership to internal stakeholders, using experience and influencing skills where needed. Any other tasks and responsibilities required by the company that are reasonably within the role holders capabilities and skill set. We are looking for a

with the following skills and experience: Proven procurement experience working supported by a CIPS qualification (desirable but not essential). Composite procurement experience within a motorsport or automotive background. Demonstrates exceptional relationship-building capabilities across all business levels, both internally and externally, while efficiently prioritising operational demands and leveraging strong problem-solving abilities to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
