The primary purpose of this position is to support and execute the logistics procurement strategy by collaborating with the Logistics Sourcing Lead, leveraging advanced analytical tools, and driving efficient sourcing practices. The role focuses on optimizing logistics spend, ensuring supplier performance, and delivering cost-effective solutions while maintaining alignment with company policies and sustainability goals. This position requires a data-driven and proactive approach to risk management, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance, ensuring that procurement processes meet organizational objectives and contribute to overall supply chain resilience and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

Collaborate with the Logistics Sourcing Lead to correctly address spend, fully understand baseline data, and support strategy creation using strategic tools prescribed by the company. Coordinate sourcing events as decided by the Sourcing Lead, ensuring on-time, in-full deliverables are achieved as per agreed objectives. Utilize tools such as SAP, Transporeon, TMS, and WMS to extract, analyze, and interpret logistics spend and supplier performance data. Conduct baseline analyses to identify cost optimization opportunities, operational improvements, and potential risks or weaknesses. Maintain and analyze pricing data and financial estimates to support management reporting. Provide comprehensive cost structure analysis to drive informed and strategic decision-making. Track the company-prescribed value tracker, ensuring on-time, in-full input while identifying deviations from projected commitments and acting proactively to meet and/or exceed those commitments. Ensure supplier performance aligns with delivery and quality expectations by addressing any deviations promptly and maintaining a proactive approach to support organizational goals. Promote and embed company procurement processes and policies across the organization. Act as a role model for compliance, ensuring adoption and adherence to procurement standards and practices. Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals. Present insights, reports, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams to support informed decision-making. Anticipate and address risks in the logistics supply chain, including cost fluctuations, supplier capacity constraints, and delivery delays. Develop strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and minimize disruptions. What are we looking for?

Bachelor degree and a minimum of 3 years in Logistics industry either in a shipper, logistics or industrial company connected to logistics services. Knowledge of freight regulations on multiple countries, at least UK and EU. Knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachograph. Good communicator and able to handle stress under difficult situations. Proven negotiation skills in logistics field. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
