Job Title:
Senior Buyer (Plant and Equipment)

Salary:
£45,000 + depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Owning, influencing, and liaising with key stakeholders to determine their requirements
Creating procurement strategies and contracting routes
Leading the process to prepare and issue pre-qualification & RFP documents
Developing assessment criteria to select the successful bid
Conducting tender reviews with multiple functions to determine the most suitable supplier
Identifying and delivering savings actively
Your skills and experiences:
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing procurement strategies
Strong contract skills, including negotiation, management, and agreement of terms and conditions
Expertise in supplier management to ensure optimal performance and relationships
Project experience in Plant & Equipment/Construction projects
