Advanced Recruit are recruiting on behalf of our client, who are a specialised Structural Steel company in the heart of Wolverhampton. Due to growth, they have urgent requirements for a Senior CAD Engineer to join their team.
Reporting into the Design Office Manager, candidates will be responsible for producing design layouts, general arrangements and full manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
Responsibilities
Liaising with the project team, client, architect & structural engineers to gather details and produce bespoke drawings to suit their requirements. Maintain files and records throughout. Attend internal or external project design meetings.
Essential Experience
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role. Experience of using AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks. Experience of producing accurate drawings to enable effective construction. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. IT Proficient with Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of open mesh flooring and handrails would be advantageous. Knowledge of Revit & BIM models would be advantageous.
