Here at Steelway, we design, manufacture and install secondary/access metalwork - metal flooring, walkways, staircases, platforms, ladders, fire escapes, handrails, balustrades, heritage & architectural metalwork along with general fabrications in mild steel, stainless steel and GRP for a diverse customer base. Senior CAD Engineer

with experience in structural steel work to complement our established team of CAD Designers. Reporting into the Design Office Manager, candidates will be responsible for producing design layouts, general arrangements, and full manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor. Responsibilities

Liaising with the project team, client, architect & structural engineers to gather details and produce bespoke drawings to suit their requirements. Maintain files and records throughout. Attend internal or external project design meetings. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Experience of using AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks. Experience of producing accurate drawings to enable effective construction. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. IT Proficient with Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of open mesh flooring and handrails would be advantageous.
