Job Description : We are looking for Senior Calibration Engineers to support our Engineering team at Cosworth. As a Senior Calibration Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the world's most high-performance and technologically advanced engines. The Role: Take responsibility for delivering engine and vehicle calibration programmes, including emissions and performance development programmes & low volume production programmes. Manage a small team of engineers to deliver programmes to time and budget targets. Work on-site at Northampton for test bed activities and potentially off-site to support UK-based vehicle calibration. Overseas (Europe and US) testing and validation trips. Capable of managing programme activities with full supervision and mentoring of more junior colleagues. Ensure that quality of work is compatible with the standards required within Cosworth and that all relevant standards are abided by. Fulfil any other reasonable requirement consistent with departmental objectives. Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities. Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice. Candidate Profile: Demonstrable experience and genuine enthusiasm for high-performance gasoline engine and vehicle calibration. Emissions and OBD specialism is essential – Gasoline Particulate Filter experience is highly desirable. Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent qualification. Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the legislative requirements for worldwide markets. Able to communicate effectively on a technical and managerial level to support customer meetings and business development opportunities. Able to demonstrate a commitment to improving skills through relevant training and experience. It is anticipated that Senior Calibration Engineers will have demonstrable experience within the delivery of gasoline calibration programmes to production. Passionate for engineering and problem-solving.
