Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioner to take on a new ongoing contract role within the ATOM Team. Location:

37.5 hrs a week, Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 Summary: As post holder of this role, you will be expected to be primarily based within Wigan local authority while being part of the ATOM team. The role will be based with colleagues in targeted youth support services, alongside other colleagues in the council as identified in the assessed needs of the children and their family and within GMMH Manchester Rd CAMHS. You will be expected to provide a specialist mental health assessment and interventions to children and young people, their families, and carers referred to the service and to other professionals involved in their care. Main duties/responsibilities: Work as an integral part of the ATOM and CAMHS teams with a specialist role in the development and implementation of services and care pathways for children in or on the edge of care within a new Adolescent hub Service. Provide specialist advice and consultancy/support to colleagues on mental health difficulties, attachment, developmental trauma, and systemic interventions. Provide a direct and specialist therapeutic service in line with the grading of the post, including assessment, formulation, and therapeutic input to children and families referred to the service. Take a key role in the provision of assessment and formulation of children who are on the edge of care.
