Senior Care Assistant - Care Home - Bank As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You'll supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants and support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and help create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.

Main Duties of the Job Your role as a Bank Senior Care Assistant will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents while playing your part in creating an environment that's warm, welcoming and vibrant.

About You

You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. We also require specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for warm-hearted, compassionate individuals committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You'll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, with no limit to how far you can progress with us. Many of our Senior Care Assistants advance into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.

Person Specification Qualifications

You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is also required.
