Toni at Amber Mace is delighted to be working on behalf of an award-winning care provider who is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join their team at a luxury purpose-built care home in Chesham. You will support the management team by running the floor and leading a team of care assistants in continuing to provide excellent first-rate care to the home's elderly residents, some of whom may be suffering from dementia or physical disabilities, to ensure that their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
To be considered for the role of Senior Care Assistant, you must have the following experience:
At least 1 year’s Senior Care Assistant experience - leading a team Experience in Administration of medication Level 3 NVQ or above in Health and Social Care - Preferred Excellent communication & organisational skills Experience with elderly/dementia residents Experience within a Care Home setting
Role requirements for the Senior Care Assistant: Supporting and supervising the team Training and development Developing therapeutic or beneficial relationships with residents/colleagues Delivering high standards of person-centred care Attend regular meetings Help maintain cleanliness and tidiness of home Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in implementing personalised care plans, and reviewing and monitoring these on a regular basis
