Senior Care Assistant (Nights) - Humberston House - Humberston We are delighted to have opened Humberston House Care Home in November last year and would like to invite you to come along for the exciting journey! At Tanglewood, we are enthusiastic about promoting you as an individual. If you have specific career aspirations within care, we will advocate any training you need including NVQ Level 2, 3, 4, and 5. We are searching for that all-important Senior Care Assistant to join our team and continue to promote our high standards and family feel. As a Senior Care Assistant, you are important and integral to the team and needed by the residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for a number of areas in the home: Helping support residents with their morning routines to get ready for the day, Working with families to understand each resident's needs, desires, and purpose in their daily lives, Checking on residents in a timely manner to ensure they are comfortable, their dignity is respected, and they feel safe and secure at all times, Being the individual who supports the residents, keeping them company and maintaining their purpose in life, Supporting and leading the care assistants in the home, assisting with questions, advice, and ensuring the day runs smoothly, Dispensing medication to each resident throughout the day and recording information in a timely and accurate manner, Assisting care assistants with ensuring the home is kept clean and records are diligently updated, Working closely with external bodies to ensure the appropriate level of care is provided to each resident, Updating and reviewing care plans in accordance with regulations and policies.
