Senior Care Assistant- Nights -
Required at Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon, Part of The Country Court Family Hours: Nights, 45 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 18:45 - 07:00) Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon provides residential and specialist dementia care in luxurious & beautiful surroundings. The amazing staff led by Susan the Manager provide a safe, supportive & sociable environment for the residents to live in. ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:
Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs Administration and monitoring of medications to residents. Supporting residents at meals time Mentor & assist new employees. Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs. Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants *This is not intended as an exhaustive description of duties, please see the job description for full details. Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team. Have a friendly & caring attitude. Experience of administrating medication Able to engage well with the residents and their families. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this. Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
