Meadows Park in Louth is searching for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team and help maintain our high standards and family feel. As a Senior Care Assistant, you are integral to the team and essential to the residents. The working hours will be 8pm to 8am, including every other weekend. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for several areas in the home: Helping support residents with their evening routines and dispensing medication. Working with families to understand each resident's needs, desires, and purpose in their daily lives. Checking on residents in a timely manner to ensure they are comfortable, their dignity is respected, and they feel safe and secure at all times. Providing companionship and supporting residents in maintaining their purpose in life. Supporting and leading care assistants in the home, assisting with questions and ensuring the day runs smoothly. Dispensing medication to each resident through the night and recording information accurately. Assisting care assistants in keeping the home clean and ensuring records are updated diligently. Working closely with external bodies to ensure the appropriate level of care is provided to each resident. Updating and reviewing care plans in accordance with regulations and policies.
