Cambridge, Huntingdon, and surrounding areas (mainly hospital-based in location nearest you with flexibility to cover nearby locations) Salary:

As a Senior Care Worker with us, you’ll be part of a unique service that provides vital support to unpaid carers. Your work will include: Giving unpaid carers the breaks they need by providing interim support to those they care for. Offering emergency response assistance to carers in crisis. Supporting hospital discharge services and helping prevent avoidable admissions. Working alongside our homecare team to assess needs, plan care, and deliver compassionate service. Experience:
Person-centered care, ideally in a domiciliary or homecare setting Skills:
Excellent communication, strong IT abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively Knowledge:
Understanding of legislative care standards and the ability to work to high compliance Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential) Personal Attributes:
Adaptability, solution-focused, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of carers and those they support Previously undertaken care plan assessments (or have the capability to learn) Must be able to drive and have own vehicle (Mileage costs covered) This role is perfect for those ready to make a meaningful impact across the Cambridgeshire community.
