Walker Cole International are searching for a Senior Category Manager to join a growing pharmaceutical firm in the Cambridgeshire region. The role will entail managing all strategic and operational procurement activities, developing savings pipelines, and implementing risk management strategies to limit exposure to disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop robust partnerships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders. Manage indirect procurement activities including Capital Equipment, Construction, and Facilities Management services. Effective management of suppliers to ensure KPI's are achieved and Total Cost of Ownership benefits are realized.
Required Attributes:
Considerable knowledge and experience managing Indirect Procurement Categories. Prior experience working in the pharmaceutical, medical device or life science industry. Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) qualifications.
