As the Senior Category Manager, you will lead the strategic management of the core health and wellness categories, Medicines, Pain Relief, Weight Management, Smoking Control, and Women’s Health. You will be responsible for delivering category growth, enhancing customer experience, and maximising profitability through data-driven strategies, supplier collaboration, and cross-functional alignment. Strategic category management including the development and execution of comprehensive e-commerce category strategies, identifying data driven market trends, consumer preferences and shopper insights to inform category decisions based on factors such as product life cycles, seasonality, and emerging trends Driving growth and profitability through effective ranging and product lifecycle management Establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative supplier relationships and continuous evaluation and optimisation of the supplier portfolio Working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain and merchandising to ensure seamless execution of category plans Monitor and manage the financial performance of the category including sales, margin, and marketing income targets to achieve budgeted KPI’s Implement cost-effective strategies and promotional activity to achieve budgeted financial goals Conduct regular analysis on performance data to identify areas for improvement and make informed, data driven decisions Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining category management processes Who are we looking for? Previous category management experience across one or more of the following areas desirable but not essential: Medicines and/or Healthcare Experience creating, developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Experience managing categories in an e-commerce retail environment Advanced negotiation skills with a history of securing advantageous supplier terms Excellent commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and profitability targets Ability to work with others as part of a team with strong communication skills (verbal and written) Proficient in MS office suite with intermediate Excel Commercially astute with a keen eye for product with impeccable attention to detail What happens next?
