Assist with developing the Geo-Environmental discipline within Ridge and be part of the Geo-Environmental discipline group. Lead the geotechnical development of the group. Assist the team lead and office Partner in running the geo-environmental team. Manage existing clients and develop further opportunities. Grow the group on the back of new and repeat clients. Be responsible for resourcing and aid in delivering to a financial target. Raise awareness of Ridge by attendance at networking events, seminars and business development events. About You
Relevant degree in Geology, applied geology, or geotechnical engineering. Experience in managing and developing a team of highly skilled Geo-Environmental Engineers. Experience working for a UK multi-discipline consultancy. Experience of slope stability assessments, foundation zoning plans, settlement analysis, pile design, geotechnical design, and geotechnical risk registers. Ideally knowledge of contaminated land assessment, asbestos regulations, and associated testing and risk assessment. You will have experience with designing projects from conception through to completion (including calculations, drawings, specifications), whilst demonstrating commercial awareness in winning work.
