What's involved with this role: Interim Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager Hull 5259046 Required to be based from the office for first 3 months then reduce to 4 days office, 1 day work from home.
Key Requirements: Degree or HNC/D qualification in Quantity Surveying and Project Management or related discipline.
Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Relevant and extensive Post Qualification Quantity Surveying and Project Management Experience.
Professional career-led working experience in a job role involving quantity surveying and project management.
Working Knowledge of NEC3 Suite of Contracts.
Excellent financial management skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft 365 Suite including Outlook, Teams, Power Point, Project, etc.
Excellent Project Management skills.
The purpose of the role is to provide a professional Quantity Surveying and Project Management service and be responsible for providing professional quantity surveying support and advice, ensuring clients receive a high-quality service at all times.
Key Responsibilities: Research and collate information and data relating to quantity surveying and project management issues, initiatives and opportunities.
Provide all the Quantity Surveying aspects for specific portfolios of architectural design and construction projects and schemes.
Project manage specific portfolios of design and construction projects, utilising cross-functional/departmental, multidisciplinary teams so that expectations are managed and met, the integrated delivery plan for the property service can be realised and the Council’s Corporate Strategies can be achieved.
Demonstrate and develop a high level of competence, technical and specialist knowledge.
Act as a champion for key schemes, ensuring the objectives are clearly articulated, and support the development of best customer practice through one’s commitment, initiative, and lead by example.
Promote the services of Quantity Surveying and Project Management so that partnerships are developed, bids are tendered, and contract opportunities are secured, enabling the successful delivery of the business plan.
