Between GBP38,480 - GBP42,640 per annum + Car allowance /Car (cGBP4k) + shift enhancements (%) Are you passionate about providing exceptional chemotherapy care? Join our clients dynamic and skilled community team, dedicated to delivering the highest standards of patient care in chemotherapy. In this role, you will collaborate with designated hospitals and centres to educate and support patients undergoing oncology treatments within the Chelmsford area. You will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered in a patient-centric, customer-focused manner. Key Responsibilities: Undertake a clinical assessment of patient s needs Conduct training to ensure patient and/or carer are able to safely self-medicate relevant oncology medications e.g. oral tablet Provide on-going support to patients through the combination of support programmes to include telephone, clinic-based and home visits as per product and client protocols Assess patients home environment to ensure it is suitable for home IV oncology treatment including ensuring the environment is safe and secure Complete line care for all IV oncology patients, ensuring lines are clean and clear Administer all IV Oncology medications for all patients undergoing IV cancer treatment Benefits include: Car allowance or company car Weekend & evening enhancements (%) Contributory pension scheme Private healthcare cover Death in service x4 salary Annual Holiday 33 days (including bank holidays) Professional registration paid for Training & Development Company mobile phone and tablet device Comprehensive company induction Requirements for this role: Register Nurse (RGN) - NMC Register Chemotherapy delivery qualification Experience in administering oncology medication, either in hospital or community environment Experience of undertaking clinical assessments and administering sub-cutaneous injections Experience in the care of IV devices and administration of IV therapies Clinical skills required include clinical assessment, administering I.V. injections, administering chemotherapy, cannulation and phlebotomy skills
