4 days on, 6 days off (with sleep nights). We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work. Rotas given in advance

Pay rate:

£39,762 to £44,208 per annum,* including opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate

We are looking for experienced, nurturing and dedicated individuals, who can provide an outstanding level of childcare and allow our young people to achieve amazing outcomes.

Peak View is a two-bed service proving immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support. Over a 12 week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.

A warm, supportive work environment with a good work-life balance Much more! *Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £13.30 to £15.20 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 12 sleep-nights per month on average (at £60 per sleep night) Essential requirements for a Senior Children's Adventure Care Worker:

A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion) A Full driving licence issued in the UK A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA etc.) Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
