Salary: £28,000 - £33,250 Location: Rudford, Gloucestershire (GL2 postcode) Hours: 39 hours per week Contract: Permanent Shifts: 6-week rotation (Mixture of early, late, and night shifts) **Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, we are only able to consider applicants who hold a Full UK Drivers Licence** Benefits:

To lead by example and support the management team to run the shift. Take greater responsibility for mentoring and supporting newer staff members. Encourage the young people to do activities and take responsibility for their own lives depending on their age. Maintain the homely, friendly culture and environment of the homes. Deal with challenging behaviours when needed. Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare. Support the children and young people in the home and promote their independence and well-being. Maintain a safe environment for the young people. Ensure the safety of the students and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the individual's care plan, guidelines, reward system and preferred method of communication. Support taxing behaviour safely and sympathetically. Develop and maintain good working relationships with the staff, parents, Social Workers and other professionals that may be involved in the young people's lives such as Psychologists. Requirements of a Senior Children's Support Worker:

Experience as a Children's Support Worker, or with Young People is

ESSENTIAL . You

MUST

have a Full UK Driving Licence as you may transport the young people from time to time. You must be over the age of 21. NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People is
