Contract About the Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Delivery Group, focusing on non-infrastructure UK water engineering projects. This role involves serving as a technical specialist and/or project lead, applying advanced engineering techniques to deliver high-quality outcomes. Provide guidance on design standards, systems, and engineering codes. Prepare calculations and civil engineering deliverables, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Lead and mentor teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Coordinate with internal and external team members on complex projects. Develop specifications for materials, construction techniques, and data management. Act as a technical specialist, offering advice and guidance to project teams. Oversee health and safety compliance for design aspects. What Our Client is Looking For:

A strong background in Civil Engineering Design and/or Hydraulics/Structural engineering. Experience in design and build projects, particularly in non-infrastructure water/wastewater treatment works. Proven leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams, including structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic specialists. A proactive approach to mentoring and developing junior staff.
