3-6 month Senior Civil Engineer needed (40-50 pph)
I am working with a fantastic Civils consultancy looking to grow their Drainage and Flood team tenfold! In the meantime, due to work commitments, they are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join on a 3-6 month contract.
The key duties of the Civil Engineer will include:
Project Engineer on projects
Managing Engineers, Technicians, and Graduate Engineers
Carry out detailed design work and drawing production. This will include the ability to design:
Main surface and foul water drainage design in accordance with Sewers for Adoption;
SuDS features to relevant standards and good practice (CIRIA 753);
Domestic Drainage to Part H;
Detailed external levels design around plots and external areas to Part M;
Preparation of drainage and road design packages for S104, S38, and S278 Agreements respectively, including liaising with the relevant drainage or highway authority as necessary to obtain technical approval.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Site3D, and Micro Drainage.
Work to deadlines (deliverables).
Day-to-day project liaison and coordination with other Design Team Members and Clients;
Attendance at meetings.
