Senior Civil Engineer Job Overview Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and sustainable engineering solutions. Prepare and review detailed design calculations, technical reports, and specifications for a range of civil engineering works. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of site investigations and assessments. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support their professional development. Conduct site visits and attend project meetings to monitor progress and resolve any technical issues. Manage project budgets and ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered in accordance with client expectations. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements.

Senior Civil Engineer Job Requirements Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. At least 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in infrastructure, drainage, highways, and site development. Proven experience in project management, including overseeing budgets, schedules, and resources. Strong technical expertise in civil engineering design, with a working knowledge of relevant software tools. Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software. Knowledge of environmental sustainability and green infrastructure solutions. Experience in managing a team and providing leadership within a project environment.
