Senior Civil Engineer

Brand new office opening in Nottingham in January, the client is looking to attract a permanent Senior Engineer. This is a hybrid role.
You will be the key hire in the Power Civils team as a Senior Civil Engineer. The role involves working closely with other disciplines on various new-build substations, substation upgrades/extensions, and other electrical infrastructure, e.g., onshore wind farms and solar farms.
Outline Requirements:
HND or degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering. Ideally IEng or CEng with membership of relevant professional engineering institution, e.g., ICE, IStructE. Civil/structural design experience on substation projects. Experience of working within Electrical Transmission and Distribution sectors. Understanding of CDM requirements. Understanding of UK Environmental and Waste Management legislation and requirements. Knowledge of National Grid's Transmission Procedures. Supervise and mentor others.
