Senior Civil Engineer – Power/Renewables

Senior Civil Engineer (Power & Renewables) Leading Power & Renewables contractor Long-term Power & Renewable Energy projects for Scottish Power & SSEN Substations, HV Cabling, BESS, Solar PV, Windfarms SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Power & Renewable Energy contractor who is looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their team to look after civil engineering and infrastructure design deliverables for their projects which can include schemes up to 400kV from substations, HV cabling, battery energy storage systems, windfarms, and solar PV projects. You will be required to support, manage, and coordinate a range of Civil Engineering works from tender through project delivery and post-construction, with duties including: Reviewing tender documentation Preparing & assessing detailed designs (earthworks, drainage, access roads, structural works, compound layouts) Design management of civil engineering consultants Managing interfaces with clients and other stakeholders Providing ongoing civil engineering support & oversight during the construction of projects Reviewing as-built record drawings to ensure civil works have been recorded correctly They can offer a strong salary & package, the opportunity for further training & progression, and a strong pipeline of work in the region across the next 5-8 years.
