Senior Civils Design Engineer
to work within our Plug & Play team, truly delivering for the future. The role can be based at any of our Design Hubs; STC, Finham, Raynesway. Responsibilities
As a
Senior Design Engineer , you will be completing design work using different design tools such as AutoCAD & Inventor. You will drive innovation into every programme of work, looking for cost-efficient solutions to a range of problems considering the whole life cost, safety and environmental impact of all proposed solutions. The Senior Design Engineer will work with a range of key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet the needs of the Customer, Key Stakeholders, and the regulatory requirements of OFWAT and the Environment Agency. You will play a key role in developing the technical capability of team members through coaching, mentoring and supporting colleagues. Minimum Requirements
Engineering experience with a background including civil engineering. Extensive experience of developing new and innovative design solutions to a wide range of engineering problems. Be able to demonstrate experience of proving the reliability and effectiveness of new solutions through robust test procedures. Proven innovation of design to assist with the development of innovative solutions in the delivery of projects. Experience of working to standards, codes and design manuals. Extensive experience of influencing internal & external stakeholders to deliver design objectives. Practice of managing a product life cycle. Degree qualified or equivalent in a civils engineering discipline. What You’ll Bring to the Role
